Soham occurs as small town in the English county of Cambridgeshire. It lies upright off a A142 between Ely and Newmarket (Suffolk). Its people is 9,102 (2001 nosecount), & these are inside a district of East Cambridgeshire.

History
The monastery was founded here by Felix of Burgundy in the 6th century but this was later destroyed per Danes. the village in todays world has a 12th century cruciform church, which has a pealing of tenner bells.

The Soham Rail Disaster
A town narrowly escaped destructiin on June 2, 1944, during a Second World War, when the fire developed on the lead wagon of a heavily ammunition train travelling slowly along the line through the town. A town was kept per bravery of trinity railway staff, Ben Gimbert, Jim Nightall, and Frank Bridges, who uncoupled a rest of a train & drove the engine & lead wagon clear of the town, in which it exploded, killing the two however stimulating there is no more deaths. The Soham Murders
